A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Nduka V. A. Anyanwu, has lauded a major stakeholder of the party, Barr. Steve Nwoga, describing him as “a no push over” for remaining steadfast and supportive to APGA, despite the gale of defection that rocked the party early this year.
According to Chief Nduka, (Anyanwu N’etiri Oha), Barr. Nwoga, who was APGA’s deputy governorship candidate in the last election, has the dream of repositioning APGA in the state and nation at large.
“Barr. Steve is poised at repositioning our great party, APGA and for that reason, he overcame the temptation of defection, despite the juicy offers”, Chief Nduka remarked.
“I have personal love and respect for Barr. Nwoga’s senses of maturity, sincerity and leadership”, Nduka added.
The South African based business mogul said apart from political affiliation, Barr. Nwoga is his big brother from the same town.
He said that all APGA faithfuls are pulling resources together to ensure that the party reclaims its pride of place.
Chief Anyanwu N’etiri Oha, submitted that APGA is not just a political party, but a Pro-Igbo movement, aimed at ensuring Igbo presidency. He added that for the party to survive, the likes of Barr. Steve Nwoga are needed to steer the wheels.
The Ahiazu Mbaise born philanthropist retorted that Barr. Nwoga is an ideal gentleman of repute, who does exactly what he says and as such, does not trade his words or keeps political foes.
Chief Nduka strongly stated that Imo State and Nigeria need a lot of Barr. Nwogas, if things must be done aright. He went further to inform that APGA is safe with people like Barr. Nowga who have utmost respect for internal democracy and individual rights.
The great youth mobilizer also praised the leadership ingenuities of the current APGA state chairman, Chief John Iwuala. According to Chief Nduka, “APGA is reborn and repositioned with the crop of personalities it currently parades”.
