Eustace Okere This is Nigerian army advising people rushing to cater away Covid-19 palliatives in the wake of the #EndSARS protests at Ilorin, the Kwara state capital. This palliatives were meant to reach the people long time ago, in order to cushion the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown policy. But, some greedy politicians hid them for their personal interests.

However, the army didn’t want to spill the people’s blood, just as they couldn’t stop them from carrying the palliatives. Hence, they admonished them to carry it in peace without destroying properties.
This is unlike what happened in Enugu state and some other places, where most people lost their lives in the hands of security agents while trying to carry what was originally theirs, but was hidden by corrupt officials.
